1. Who Needs a Visa?

  • Ordinary Bangladeshi passport holders must apply for a visa before travelling to Singapore.

  • Diplomatic, Official, and Service passport holders are exempt.

  • Singapore issues an e-Visa which is pre-entry permission. Final permission is granted at the airport immigration counter (e-Pass).


📝 2. Application Overview

  • Application must be done online through one of the authorized visa agents in Dhaka.

  • You can apply up to 30 days before your intended travel date.

  • Personal applications are not accepted at the embassy.


💲 3. Visa Fees & Processing

  • Visa fee: SGD 30 (approximately BDT 2,690)

  • Agent service charge: around BDT 1,300

  • Total cost: around BDT 3,990

  • Processing time: minimum 5 working days, may take longer during busy seasons


📄 4. Required Documents

    1. Valid Passport

      • Must have at least 6 months’ validity from the date of arrival in Singapore.

    2. Visa Application Form (Form 14A)

      • Fully completed and personally signed as per passport signature.

    3. Photographs

      • Two recent passport-sized color photos (white background, glossy or semi-glossy paper).

      • Must be taken within the last 3 months.

    4. Air Ticket Booking (copy)

    5. Hotel Booking (copy)

    6. Invitation Letter (any one of the following)

      • Must be accompanied by a completed Form V39A:

        • Company Invitation: Must include NRIC number of signatory, designation, company UEN, full address, phone number, and relationship to the applicant.

        • Individual Invitation: Must include NRIC number, full address, phone number, and relationship to the applicant.

    7. Additional Documents (if applicable)

      • Some applicants may be asked to submit additional paperwork, and may experience longer processing times due to further verifications.


    For Government Employees

    • Government service holders must submit a Letter of Introduction (LOI) from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), signed by an authorized official.


🧩 5. Application Submission

  • Visit their office and submit during working hours (usually Sunday to Thursday, 9 AM – 5 PM).

  • Collect your passport and e-Visa once processing is complete.


✉️ 6. After Submission

  • If approved, you will receive a digital e-Visa.

  • Print the e-Visa and carry it along with your passport when you travel.

  • On arrival in Singapore, immigration officers will issue you an e-Pass, showing your permitted length of stay.


✅ 7. Entry Checklist

Before departure, ensure you have:

  • Valid passport

  • Printed e-Visa

  • Flight tickets (return/onward)

  • Hotel reservation or invitation

  • Proof of sufficient funds

  • Yellow fever vaccination certificate (if applicable, for travelers from risk areas)
